The hotel is in a great location, just a short distance from cafes, restaurants, and attractions like the Li Phi waterfalls. We enjoyed the tranquil setting and the river view from our quiet room. - the staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

We were in a hurry, so stayed here only for 2 nights, though everything was perfectly fine. The location was stunning, keen to take you out on his boat for anything from a short sunset-trip to longer trips around the islands, and the bed good. Moreover, it was near to the river bank and the port and LiPi Falls.

This place has a fantastic location, just a stone's throw away from all the cool cafes and the river 🌊. the double room is super cozy and comes with a private safe, a lounge area, and its own private entrance.

This place served as a great home base for exploring around here, and I had a blast. the staff here were all extremely friendly, which was a huge bonus! 😊

The bungalows at The Boathouse were absolutely amazing! I loved having a toilet and shower right in the room - so convenient! The big terrace with hammocks was the perfect spot to just chill and enjoy the river view. It felt like a perfect little slice of paradise.

Personally, I felt that the safety deposit box in the room was unnecessary. But hey, that's just my opinion!

The Boathouse at Don Det surpassed my expectations as a budget traveler. the bungalow had stunning riverfront views and a peaceful ambiance. the owners, Mike and his wife, were incredibly friendly and helpful. the location, right on the river, was outstanding, and renting a bike next door allowed easy access to explore the area. the food at the restaurant was fantastic - cooked to order and delicious.

I keep coming back to this amazing place. The staff helped me with taxi tips when I first arrived. It suits me perfectly with free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, bar, restaurant, and more. Can't wait for my next city break!

The location of the bungalow was fine, right on the river with a beautiful view. I loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying the peacefulness of the surroundings. The food cooked by the host was delicious, and I especially enjoyed the home-cooked meals at the restaurant. The beds were comfy and I had a great night's sleep. The availability of bikes at the bungalow made it easy to explore the island. The host was helpful and caring, ensuring that I had everything I needed. I had a fantastic experience at The Boathouse and would highly recommend it to others.

I chose The Boathouse hotel specifically to visit the Tad Somphamit Waterfalls, which was a must-see for me. But I was pleasantly surprised by the ticket service offered by Boathouse. It made exploring the attractions around Don Det so much easier. the fish restaurant at Boathouse was one of the best in Laos, and I thoroughly enjoyed dining there.

Took a bike tour and got lost in the middle of nowhere. The food was so good, I ate until I couldn't breathe. I even made friends with a cat who wanted to be my new roommate.

Who needs clear water when you can have Mekong water straight from the faucet? So refreshing.

The atmosphere of this place heals all that ails in the soul. Mike and Bountip are lovely people. Guests can enjoy a continental or a la carte breakfast.

Should have brought my own soap because they didn't provide any.
